WAAH!! It's a whole NEW day for me.. Although yesterday we were very EXCITED and ESTATIC that were really going to our designated community health centers.. nothing stopped us from going to our destination: BRGY. LOCTUGAN! hehe.
Were excited because our place is different from the other groups which they will have their community duties on: BRGY. BANICA & BRGY. TIZA.
Since it's DAY ONE. We were just novice nursing students. When at school for our general assembly, 1st our C.I's had checked our things, then we all prayed the NURSING PRAYER in front of the MAMA MARY statue located uphill in our school, then went outside the school, ready to travel going to Loctugan. We rode on a jeepney, yey! It's like a wonderful joy ride with my quirky classmates, but was seatmate at the ride was our Dominican nun C.I. :]
When arriving there we went to our HEALTH CENTER were it will be our HEADQUARTERS for the next months. Then Sister John lectured on us, since it's just our 1st day, some brief orientation for the upcoming days at the community.
Then there was a HEALTH BREAK whcih we all waited for like FOREVER. WERE ALL HUNGRY AT THAT TIME. Went to the nearest tiangge and had our snacks, then after that went back to our headquarters, then started our ocular survey & familiarization of the key leaders of the community. Our classmates Ralf who is a resident of Loctugan had the honor to tour us all around. It was very tiring, nilibot namun bilog nga community just thru waliking. It was a very sunny day, medyo windy lang and saw nice and great sceneries mostly composed of very green mountains. Syempre, DI MADULA ANG PICTURE,PICTURE!! :]
Then lunch break came, we eat our pack lunch at Ralf's house. We have to be back at 1:00pm at the health center but bad luck came, heavry rain poured. We went back at the health center almost 1:30pm, were really afraid that Sister might scold us for being late. We went back their even rain is still present in our environment but due to our fear we continued our plan going back their. But opposite situation happened, were all glad when we got back their, Sister was still not around & haven't been back from the convent. Yey! haha.
When Sister arrived, We had reporting, and I was the 1st one to report, but didn't KNOW how to explain. HAHA. But with spontaneous speaking, I've overcome the reporting stage and was criticized of having a GOOD report. :]
Then we have to walked for the 2nd time in our zones for we forgot to count the houses that we will be rendering our nursing care services. We completely forgot to count it while we were touring the whole town. Anyways, we got the # and it's:69 houses for zones 3&4.
After that we returned the to the health center and had our general cleaning. Then Sister had the post conference. Were we really got paled! Were very confused on how to make our INDIVIDUAL CASE STUDY!! Oh NO!! THEN HOME SWEET SCHOOL, I still need to attend SCO MEETING, a school assembly. It finished just around 7pm. Now, I'm writing.. hehe.
WELL, NEED TO GO NOW, STILL NEED TO DO SOME ASSIGNEMENTS FOR TOMORROW'S DAY 2!!
We will be having our CONSULATION tomorrow. Wanna have a CHECK-UP on our Health Center?
